Position: Java Developer – Enterprise Content & Integration (Documentum)
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 6+ Months

We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Java Developer with experience in Documentum to join our enterprise application team. This role focuses on designing and developing scalable Java-based solutions that integrate with our content management systems, particularly Documentum, while supporting modernization efforts across legacy platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services that integrate with Documentum and other enterprise systems.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs to enable secure and efficient data exchange across platforms.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and infrastructure teams to modernize legacy content workflows.
• Support Documentum configurations, customizations, and upgrades in coordination with ECM specialists.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, code reviews, and release cycles.
• Ensure application security, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8+), including Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience working with Documentum (D2, xCP, Webtop, or REST Services).
• Strong understanding of enterprise content management (ECM) principles and document lifecycle workflows.
• Experience with SQL, XML, and JSON data formats.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and Agile development practices.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud-native development and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Documentum REST Services and integration with modern front-end frameworks.
• Exposure to enterprise integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Kafka).
• Understanding of compliance and retention policies in regulated industries
